Hi, I start externship tomorrow morning which will be a month long- 160 hrs. I finished the program a week ago and took the NCCT exam. I passed! I'm older, close to mid-50's and decided to start a new career. I'm a bit nervous but do appreciate all you mentioned in the video on the "Do's and Don'ts".

I worked as PCT in Dialysis facility they trained me and then I studied to become a MA. I just passed the exam to become CCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Tech) and planning to take my CCMA soon.

We paid for 6 months of school, but was recently asked to cut out school time to 10 weeks and take the NHA CCMA test. Is this normal class time?
